I have worked with Julian as my production partner since 1995 to this date. My best friend and one of the finest Producer/Engineers I have ever worked with. I’ve been working with Julian for a long time, most recently with C.O.T (Toolroom) and GHOSTZz (Good Company) projects, and have to say Julian’s production skills and technique are right up there with the best
Julian has been a great ally right from the beginning of the Silverland project. He has a unique way of working and creating “that” groove. Julian is plugged in to a lot of areas in the business and has helped me connect with a host of industry people. He has even placed some of my side projects with labels over the last few years as well.
He is painfully honest about the music. If you send him an idea and he doesn’t like it, he will tell you however, if he loves it, he goes above and beyond and champions it. His A&R ears still work. It’s refreshing to have this honesty.
We still work together to this day and I hope we will continue to do so.

The very first time I ever went into a recording studio in 1995, I was asked to do a remix for Slip & slide/Kickin Records. I was highly recommended a studio in East London. Julian was the head engineer and worked with me on that project, which in turn kick started my production career. I’m honoured to say from that day on, I have worked with him ever since. Whether it’s on productions together, publishing his music or releasing his own productions/remixes on my Phonetic Recordings label. I am continuously signing new records from artists that Julian is working with, in 2019 alone this is made up for a third of Phonetic’s releases. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
